Missing Persons, Cold Cases

I normally would have put this post on my Yahoo 360* board, but currently it is not working. I wanted to share my experience with this case, so I will put it here for now.

Caylee Anthony went missing earlier this year. I initially went to a message board near the case to follow current events connected to this case, that had not met the media as yet. During this time, I met and became friends with a gal named Jenette. Jenette was also following along with this case.

As you all know, I have a cadaver dog, Jordan. After digesting the timeline of the Mother of Missing Caylee Anthony, the area near her house became important to me. When I expressed this interest to my new friend Jenette..she offered to check it out for me. She found the area pretty much filled with water.

I expressed to her the desire for me to visit the area..with Jordan. She accommodated me and offered to send for me, and also my good friend Cindy, who is a fledgling P.I. and we did both travel to Florida to join the search. The map you see with this post is the map I created in July, and sent to Jenette in August.

After we arrived in Florida, we met up with TES (Texas Equusearch) what an absolutely wonderful group of people! There was much confusion as several different agencies also attended. If I could do a do over..I wished I had gotten to search the area that I had headed to Florida to search. We accepted area's to search that were given to us instead, as I felt at the time, those area's were a priority, and saved my personal area's for last area's to search. We did get to visit the area I was interested in, but only to realize that our group was exhausted and put it off till the following day. Jordan stayed in the truck with an exhausted Cindy. We all retired, promising ourselves we would return to search.

The following day, we were given a high priority area, and spent the day there doing a thorough job. As time wore on,...the area that I was interested in.. fell to the wayside, and ultimately..wouldn't you know it, that is where Caylee's remains were found. Included in this post is the map I sent to several agencies and is the area I intended on searching. I have also included a picture of Jordan, she was an absolute trooper and worked endless hours.

some are laughing and remembering the fun times that they had.

In all the days to come and go...when you feel you can't go on.
Just look straight up... and see my face, looking back down at you below.
Know in your heart, I am not gone.. be "Rested and Assured",

Like the wetness of water
The mind is made up of the physical connections between neurons. These connections evolve slowly and are influenced by our past experiences and therefore, everyone's brain is unique.
But whereas the mind is rooted in the physical connections between neurons, consciousness is an emergent property of the brain, similar to the 'wetness' of water or the 'transparency' of glass, both of which are properties that are the result of -- that is, they emerge from -- the actions of individual molecules.
Conscious experience occurs when a stimulus -- either external, like a sensation, or internal, like a thought or a memory -- triggers a chain reaction within the brain. Like in an earthquake, each conscious experience has an epicenter, and ripples from that epicenter travels across the brain, recruiting neurons as they go.
Mind and consciousness are connected in this theory because the strength of a conscious experience is determined by the mind and the strength of its existing neuronal connections -- connections forged from past experiences.
Part of the mystery and excitement about consciousness is that scientists don't know what form the final answer will take.

I enjoy reading other's "thoughts" on others actions. I find this useful in my career...which is to understand why a person did a thing or to understand what they "may" do in the future, as well as "if they did it at all". I do not mind opinions, but try to stay away from those that attack others without investigating FOR the truth or motive. I do not like rumours, but enjoy a "healthy" debate. Knowing a rumour can be seen as a lead, and I do not believe much of what I hear, but rather would investigate back to the source, and find it's truth.
